CoG used for scientific modeling

Dear All:

Based on a note from Jon Taylor, ANL, I am happy to annonce that the Java
CoG KIt is now being used as part of a scientific modeling toolkit for
climate related research which will be demonstrated at SC'20001.

The Espresso Scientific Modeling Interface provides an intuitive
graphical front end to complex scientific models. Espresso makes it
possible for scientists to perform more scientific tasks without
having to deal with tedious and error prone script editing.
Furthermore, Espresso allows scientists to utilize online resources
such as data archives and remote computational resources using the
Globus Java CoG kit. Espresso itself is written in Java and is
completely configurable with XML. It currently supports MM5 (with
support for CCSM and FOAM coming soon).
