[gsi-openssh] [ANNOUNCE] GSI-OpenSSH 2.3 Released

The GSI-OpenSSH development team is pleased to announce the release of 
version 2.3 of the GSI-Enabled OpenSSH software distribution.  GSI-OpenSSH
2.3 is based on OpenSSH 3.6.1p2 and NCSA's latest GSI patch for that
version of OpenSSH.  A summary of the major changes found in this version
is given at the end of this document.

GSI-OpenSSH 2.3 is available for download from

GSI-OpenSSH 2.3 Major changes

   New features

      * Updated to match Simon Wilkinson's openssh-3.6.1p2-gssapi-20030430.diff
        patch.

      * Incorporated Session Hook patch from Olle Mulmo (see 
        http://www-unix.globus.org/mail_archive/gsi-openssh/2003/04/msg00003.html)

      * Run-time SSHD pid file path creation based on the value of 
        $GLOBUS_LOCATION.

      * Automatic discovery of dependent libraries using the GPT build 
        tools.

      * Use default values in setup script when given a null input.

      * On setup script error, exit with a standard return value.

   Bugs fixed

      * Fixed bad path to ssh-keysign for hostbased authentication.

      * Include two additional config file man pages in binary packages.

   Bundle-related

      * Package deltas (in addition to the gsi_openssh* packages)

          globus_gsi_cert_utils (from version 0.5 to 0.8).
