[gsi-openssh] [ANNOUNCE] GSI-OpenSSH 2.6 Released

The GSI-OpenSSH development team is pleased to announce the release of
version 2.6 of the GSI-Enabled OpenSSH software distribution. GSI-OpenSSH
2.6 is based on OpenSSH 3.6.1p2 and NCSA's latest GSI patch for that
version of OpenSSH. A summary of the major changes found in this version
is given at the end of this document.

This release signifies a departure from previous releases. Our
experience has shown us that including more Globus packages than required
leads to difficulties which are not easily solved. As a result of that
experience, we now choose to offer only a source bundle for release,
requiring a compatible Globus Toolkit be installed prior to building our
source bundle.

GSI-OpenSSH 2.6 is available for download from

  <ftp://ftp.ncsa.uiuc.edu/aces/gssapi-openssh/bundle/2.6/>
