1. Introduction

These release notes are for the incremental release 4.0.7. It includes a summary of changes since 4.0.6, bug fixes since 4.0.6 and any known problems that still exist at the time of the 4.0.7 release. 2. Changes Summary

Other than bug fixes, no changes have been made for XIO since 4.0.6.

3. Bug Fixes

Bug 5004: A race in deactivation of globus_common caused a a seg fault. globus_mutex_lock() was being called on a destroyed mutex. This is solved now.
Bug 5503: UDP driver sendto() fails on Solaris
