Grid GL Viewer Screenshots

This gallery of screenshots documents the progress made in the visual development of the GridGLViewer application.

Screenshots: 08-02-2002
These shots show the state of the grid at the time of visualization (with many nodes!). The purple sphere is the "selected" sphere. For each of the selected spheres, some LDIF record information is shown in the little red text box at the bottom of the screen. This selection feature was just added.

Screenshots: 07-31-2002
These shots show the first time the GridGlViewer was able to actually render data fed in from real ldif input. The ldif data was gathered from the results of a grid query against giis.globus.org

Screenshots: 07-26-2002
These shots show a demonstration of rendering spheres and cylinders used to connect the spheres in three-space. The red lines are also cylinders, and they are the start of the text box. Fonts are rendered in the second screenshot showing off arbitrary text in the three-space.

Screenshots: 07-24-2002
These shots show a simple rendering of spheres in three-space. Lighting is enabled and the coloring is a change in the diffuse lighting setting. The spheres are also connected by cylinders.
